The Research and Student Development, Marketing, Health Promotion, and Behavioral
Health Departments teamed up together to host a Sweethearts Night that was pretty
sweet! Check out the sweet highlights of our event on February 12th!

The event began with an introduction by
Joseph Ravago, the Project Coordinator
of REZolution, and Cabrini Loredo, the
Program Coordinator of ZSI and SAPTA.
Attendees then listened to a presentation
from Theresa Bader, Associate Therapist
and Certified Substance Use Counselor
at IHC. After the presentation, attendees
watched “previews” of IHC programs and
services.

After some previews, it was time for dinner. The menu focused on healthier options:
Caesar salad, mashed potatoes with butter, and stuffed bell peppers with ground beef and
rice.

You might ask what goes well with a candlelit dinner, a movie! Attendees watched the
movie Enchanted, fitting well with the Valentine’s Day theme. IHC movie nights are not
complete without movie concessions, so guests were provided with fresh popcorn and
heart-shaped candy to enjoy.

Other fun activities at this event included an art table hosted by REZolution, for anyone to
make Valentine’s Day-themed art, and a photo booth to commemorate the special night,
thanks to IHC’s Marketing Department. IHC programs had tables at the event to share IHC
programs and services. Guests also received bags with goodies. This event reminded IHC
staff and patients that love and dedication within the community helped us find joy and
fun. We look forward to future events at IHC and hope you’ll be a sweetheart and join us
another time!
